Academic Policy
Measuring Your Academic Progress
Your academic progress at Vancouver School of Beauty is determined by your performance in three primary study areas:
- Theory: Academics, videos, workbook, vocabulary, mandatory review questions, and written exams.
- Practical Work: Lab classes, demonstrations on models and/or mannequins. (Live models with permission.)
- Clinic Work: Service performed on general public.
Units. Students earn “units” for practical
tasks completed. These units, which are not the same as class hours, are
required for graduation. Please see your instructor, academic coordinator,
or academic director for more information on unit requirements.
