Academic Policy — Page 4
Attendance and Academic Progress
Instructors
evaluate a student's progress in both in attendance and academics through
counseling sessions, which are held as needed basis for all students.
Results of these sessions are placed in the student's permanent file and
a copy is given to the student for his/her records. Students who are meeting
minimum requirements at evaluation time will be considered making satisfactory
progress until the next scheduled evaluation.
Any student who is not meeting satisfactory progress requirements at evaluation
time will be handled in the following manner:
1st
violation
| Oral
warning/write-up (three write-ups could mean possible termination) |
2nd violation
| 30-day probation |
3rd violation
| 5-day suspension |
4th violation
