Leave of Absence Policy
A student may take a leave of absence when he/she:
• Completes two-week advance notice for leave of absence.
• Gets this notice signed and dated by an instructor.
• Maintains an 80% minimum grade prior to time off.
• Turns in monthly worksheets before leaving.
Taking a leave without meeting these conditions is considered an unexcused absence and will reflect badly in the student's records. We make every effort to accomodate a student's needs, especially in cases of emergencies or death in the family. However, regular attendance is extremely important to completion of beauty school training.
