“My name is Carolina Guitron, I've lived in Washington for the last 13 years. Since I left my country, my dream has been to become a hair dresser. I thank God and my wonderful teachers—especially Ms. Soto as she teaches us in Spanish as well as English—my dream is coming true. Who imagined a poor girl from a large family of 8 sisters and 1 brother, from a very small village of less than 200 people, would soon be graduating from cosmetology school. Also, I am grateful for the scholarship I have received from the Camas Soroptomist organization.” — Carolina Guitron |
